Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to browse the collection and buy from us. Our target is conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

What we have done

• Text and interface colours meet a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 for normal text.
• The whole site can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a “Skip to content” link.
• The turning cup on the home page can be turned with the arrow keys, and stops when your device asks for reduced motion. All animations and the video stop under that setting.
• Images have text alternatives; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
• Form fields have labels and error messages that are announced to assistive technology.
• Colour is never the only way information is shown: glaze choices have names next to their colour dots.
• Pages work when zoomed to 200% and on small screens.

We do not use accessibility overlay plugins; we fix problems in the site itself.

Known limitations

Some payment forms at checkout are provided by our payment providers and follow their own accessibility standards. If you have trouble paying, contact us and we will help you complete your order another way.
